Movember

Posted by halfwayround on November 25, 2008

Just a quick post tonight. We are in the process of trying to add photos to our previous posts, so hopefully we’ll have that sorted out in the next day or two!

OnĀ another note, as we draw closer to the end of our posting, we know that there are people reading that have never commented…leave us a wee comment! We’d like to know who has been following our journey.

November, in New Zealand, is known as ‘Movember’. Where men all over the place grow moustaches, in support of male depression and cancer, to raise money for charity. Jonny has been doing his bit in support of the cause…

Guilty as charged, I have been reading your journey and have enjoyed ‘travelling’ with you but have never left a comment. Apologies. However, I am sure you will forgive me as I am drowning in a pile of washing, ironing and making baby bottles (as I am sure you will probably have heard from your mum and dad, Jill) that baby Emma arrived on Thur 30 Oct, she didn’t quite make it as a Halloween baby, her Aunty Laura was a little disappointed. Although Hannah is almost 2 now I had forgotten just how much washing a baby produces.

    Have a safe trip home.

You are a frightening piece of work and if you think you are getting anywhere near me you can think again!! ~ I can almost hear your response in my head though- ;) Seriously though, that’s a bit scary but can’t wait to see you!! Things normal here, lots to fill you in on. I’m sure you’ll listen to every word Jill!! Was at a course today for my EPD- all fun but I’m a bit shattered. Hope you are continuing to enjoy yourselves.. Safe journeys. God Bless you both.. xx

    You’re a lovely boy……even though I don’t like beards!

We hope all goes smoothly on your return journey. We’ll continue to pray for safe travelling.

We’ve got boulders on our beaches so there!! And rubbish and seaweed and polystyrene containers!
